Neil Walker, Head of Visual Arts Programming, Lakeside Arts, joins writer and poet Gregory Woods in a live streamed conversation. Emeritus Professor Gregory Woods was appointed Chair of Gay and Lesbian Studies at Nottingham Trent University in 1998, the first such appointment in the UK.

About Gregory Woods (click to expand)

Gregory Woods is Emeritus Professor of Gay and Lesbian Studies, Nottingham Trent University. He carries out research in the areas of LGBT+ literary and cultural studies. Professor Woods is also a critically acclaimed writer and poet. He is the author of five books of literary and LGBT+ Studies criticism, and seven poetry collections. Publications include: Articulate Flesh: Male Homo-eroticism and Modern Poetry (1987); A History of Gay Literature: The Male Tradition (1998); and Homintern: How Gay Culture Liberated the Modern World (2016).
