Welcome to the world of Thingamabobas in which your action or reaction is key to making each of the 4 extraordinary exhibits work.

Mechanical and kinetic structures meet artificial intelligence in this animatronic and robotic circus of bizarrely wonderful machines created to inspire, delight and intrigue.

FACE COVERINGS

For your safety and the safety of others, face coverings must be worn in all of our buildings at all times. Read our list of exemptions. Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue. If no tissue is available, use your elbow.

The number of visitors permitted in our spaces has been reduced. Please follow the signposted one-way routes and respect social distancing throughout our venues.

IF YOU'RE FEELING UNWELL

Please do not visit Lakeside if you or anyone you live with is feeling unwell or have a loss of smell, temperature, consistent cough or loss of taste.

HAND SANITISER STATIONS

Hand sanitiser is available at regular intervals throughout our venues. We ask that you sanitise your hands upon entering and leaving our venues.

INCREASED CLEANING

The frequency of our cleaning throughout our venues has been increased, including toilets and other facilities.

CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS

We are currently only accepting contactless payments. Cash will not be accepted. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Protective screens are in place at key touchpoints throughout our buildings. All staff are required to wear face coverings inside our buildings, except those that meet one or more of our exemptions criteria.


NHS Covid-19   NHS CONTACT TRACING

We may need to share your information with the NHS contact tracing service if someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 lists Lakeside as a place they recently visited. Read our Privacy Notice to find out how your information is shared and stored.

It is now law that all visitors entering our venues are required to either scan in prior to entry using the NHS contact tracing app or provide their name and contact details to the venue for contact tracing purposes. To help protect you, loved ones and other visitors to Lakeside, please download the official NHS Covid-19 contact tracing app for England and Wales.

If You, or anyone in your household or support bubble test positive or displayed any symptoms of COVID-19 in the 10 days prior to this event and you notify us by email at least two hours prior to the start time of the event, we will issue you with a full refund for your ticket(s).
