Mozart  String Quartet No.18 in A, KV 464
Schumann  String Quartet No.2 in F, Op.41 No.2
Mendelssohn  String Quartet No.4 in E minor, Op.44 No.2

The Schumann Quartet takes its name from the three brothers Mark, Erik and Ken Schumann who founded the ensemble in 2007. Violist Veit Hertenstein completes the quartet which has won accolades for its live performances and recordings.

They perform one of Mozart’s quartets written in homage of Haydn, the second of Schumann’s three quartets composed in quick succession in 1842,and Mendelssohn’s E minor quartet, featuring a characteristically spirited scherzo finishes the programme.
