Genre-defying Scottish guitarist Sean Shibe joins the all-star Manchester Collective string quartet exploring unexpected sound worlds and strange new places. From ‘La Folia’, the original baroque smash hit, to the spiritual music of Julius Eastman, and two brand-new pieces bringing together electronic, folk and classical influences – this concert is a dizzying range of music for string instruments, as you’ve never heard them before.
