Many quartets have launched their careers from the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition including the Belcea, Ébène and Schumann Quartets. This year’s First Prize, Audience Prize and Young Listener’s Prize winners were the Leonkoro Quartet.

This exciting quartet, founded in Berlin in 2019, also won the 2022 Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition and have been named a BBC New Generation Artist.
