Combining a joyful, fun stage presence with energetic, dynamic flair, Le Vent du Nord delights audiences with their glorious mix of fiddle and foot-tapping, guitar, accordion, piano, bass, hurdy-gurdy and wonderful four-part harmonies.
The quintet performs catchy songs and tunes, some taken from Québec traditional folk repertoire while others are original compositions. Since its formation in 2002 the band has performed over 2,000 concerts across four continents and released ten highly praised albums, most recently Territoires in 2019.
The audience had the heads bobbing and feet tapping from their first few powerful notes, and were in love with them all by the end.” The Nelson Mail
