Please note: this lecture replaces Building Tomorrow, a lecture that was to be given by leading architectural historian and heritage professional Elain Harwood, who sadly passed away in April. At very short notice, artist and academic, Professor Susan Tebby, has very generously agreed to give a lecture on the same date in Elain’s place on the subject of artist/architect collaborations in the post-war period.

£3 (free concessions)

From 1966 until 1984, Susan was an assistant to artists Mary and Kenneth Martin (featured in the exhibition) and continues to work for the Martins’ estate. She also knew many of the other Constructivist artists included in the exhibition, and has been involved in the restoration of works in the Sainsbury Centre collection.
