Group Private Classes

Book private classes in our Chef Kitchen for Youth.

  • Minimum of 8 participants
  • Groups such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Big Brother Big Sister, sports groups, and academic groups are encouraged
  • Price based on a curriculum call for availability
  • Classes that fulfill Girl Scout Badge requirements and fun patches are available. Lakeside Arts Park is a preferred partner of Northern IL Girl Scouts.

Adult: A Taste of Fall, Soups, & More

Thursday, November 8th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm

Join classically trained Chef Peter Cottone for this seasonal class featuring delicious, and easy-to-prepare soups that will please your family and friends. We will discuss technique, ingredients, developing flavors, culinary trends and answer questions. This is a hands-on class. Soup tastings along with bread and a glass of wine will be provided.

Cost:

  • Online Class registration will end at noon on November 1st

Youth: P is for Pie

November 13th 1:30pm – 3:00pm

Join us for this introductory culinary class designed for children ages pre-k to kindergarten with the help of a parent/caregiver (18+). Your young chef will re-invent the pie slice by making this dirt pie in a jar! These pies are simple to assemble and tasty enough to be a hit with any little chef & big chef! Kids will learn the difference between dry and wet ingredients, simple measuring, and proper hand washing technique.

Cost:

  • $15.00 per class (1 child with 1 Adult)

Youth/Family: Gingerbread House Family Workshop

December 15th from 10:00am – 12:00pm

Join Lakeside Arts Park at the Dole and decorate your very own gingerbread house! Gumdrops, chocolate squares, and jelly bears…Oh My! The sky is the limit to your creativity. All materials will be provided.
