Beethoven Symphony No.5

Internationally renowned guitarist Xuefei Yang joins the University Philharmonia to perform the world premiere of Chen Yi’s Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra. Commissioned by Lakeside Arts with funds from the University’s CASCADE and the Nottingham Confucius Institute the Concerto fuses classical western and Chinese musical ideas and instruments. 

This celebratory Chinese New Year concert features festive and popular music from China and Western classics. 
 

INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR VISIT

A programme will be available and can be purchased for £1. Cash only.

Light refreshments such as ice cream, sweets, tea & coffee will be available. There will also be a bar, which will open 1 hour before the show. Card and cash will be accepted.
