The Gingerbread Man – Schools Offer

Stuff and Nonsense presents

THE GINGERBREAD MAN

Suitable for ages 3+
Duration 1 hour (no interval)

Creators of popular children’s productions Goldilocks and the 3 Bears and The Elves and the Shoemaker, Stuff and Nonsense are coming to Lakeside Arts, Nottingham this Christmas from Thursday 9 – Friday 17 December with their best-selling adaptation of the classic tale, The Gingerbread Man.

The Gingerbread Man is born into immediate disaster. Imagine being born in an oven and the first person you meet wants to dunk you in their tea?! On the run, without knowing why or who he is, the Gingerbread Man must use his wits to survive and escape anyone who finds him tasty and become the bravest biscuit there ever was.

Stuff and Nonsense are known to use early learning classics to support the learning of Early Years and Key Stage 1 curriculum. The Gingerbread Man is a contemporary twist on a familiar tale exploring themes of acceptance and understanding of difference, underlining resilience and determination in a hard-to-navigate world. This show is as interesting as it is arty and innovative – plus, it’s great fun, appealing to both traditionalists and trendies!

Tickets cost £8.50 per child, with one free ticket for every nine booked. Book and pay before 30 September 2021 to receive the £8 EARLY BIRD BOOKING PRICE. For more information or to make a booking please contact Lakeside’s Box Office at lakeside-box-office@nottingham.ac.uk
