At the end of a year full of wonderful stories with our communities coming together and supporting each other, this festive season is a great opportunity to support artists and makers by buying unique gifts for your loved ones – or pamper yourself with a beautiful object. We've pulled together a list of fantastic makers from the past two years' Lustre artists so you can browse at your leisure and shop for everything from artisan jewellery and bags to ceramics, glass and tableware.

One of the highest quality craft selling events in the UK, our Lustre markets are a must for the style and design conscious every year. In 2020 we have not been able to come together to celebrate the makers, however many these specially selected makers are providing ways to buy their products online – so treat yourself or your loved ones to that very special gift. 

I have always looked forward to Lustre and for me it represents the start of the countdown to Christmas. I know that our Lustre makers have missed not coming to Lakeside this year, as I know you have missed them too. It has been a tough time for all businesses this year, but perhaps some of the hardest hit have been the artists and makers that we showcase here at Lakeside.

As Christmas rapidly approaches perhaps this year more than ever, we should carefully consider the gifts we choose to give. By buying from small, independent makers you are helping to buy more sustainably and thoughtfully."
