We aim to encourage and support an interest in the history of the Stapleford Area and help conserve and archive material of local interest. We have various displays about Stapleford topics, including people and industries. The Society has produced some important publications.

We have monthly meetings with speakers about various historical topics.

HIGHLIGHTS OF CURRENT PROJECT

At present we are researching all the Stapleford people who were active during WW2. This includes the people mentioned on our memorial and people who served and survived. We are very grateful to anyone who can help us with this. There is lots of information around and we aim to find and record it.
