Please note: audiences should arrive 5 minutes in advance of their specific EULOGY start time, and meet at the end of the Pavilion overlooking the lake.
This performance takes place in a shipping container located outside next to the DH Lawrence Pavilion.

EULOGY is a surreal, otherworldly journey through a dreamlike, labyrinthine hotel that exists entirely in your mind. How you arrived is a mystery and why you’re there remains unclear. Just make sure you read the pamphlet.

Enjoy an experience like no other. Performed in complete darkness, this intense and exhilarating ride uses binaural sound (virtual reality for the ears) and speech recognition technology to deceive the senses and transport audience members through rooms, down corridors and into the bowels of this strange and not altogether comfortable hotel.

How your dream unfolds is, in part, up to you. However, make sure you follow the right path and don't volunteer to become the subject of the eulogy every guest is preparing to deliver.

DARKFIELD create innovative work at the forefront of technology and theatre. Their work tours internationally and so far has reached over 250,000 audience members worldwide.

HAND SANITISER STATIONS

Hand sanitiser is available at regular intervals throughout our venues. We encourage our audiences to sanitise their hands before entering the container.

INCREASED CLEANING

The container will be cleaned between each performance. This includes wiping down surfaces, and disinfecting headphones and microphones and any other areas audience members may come into contact with. Between performances, we will test the level of CO2 in the container to ensure adequate air changeover. While the doors remain closed during the experience, an air handling unit within the container provides fresh air and temperature regulation throughout.
