Lakeside Arts is one of 1,385 cultural and creative organisations across the country receiving urgently needed support. £257 million of investment has been announced today as part of the first round of the Culture Recovery Fund grants programme being administered by Arts Council England.

Lakeside's Director, Shona Powell said:

Quotation mark

The Cultural Recovery Fund announcement today is enormously welcome. Every cultural organisation is determining how best to move forward, how we can find new ways to work with artists, and how best we can maintain audience engagement in a Covid secure environment across the breadth of Lakeside's programming. We hugely miss our audiences and this investment will help us support renewed, innovative, safe and sustainable programme delivery – including exciting new partnerships with venues and artists.”
