BHM LIVE 2020 CALL OUT FOR COMMISSIONS

Our colleagues at Serendipity, Leicester, were unfortunately unable to deliver their 2020 Let's Dance International Frontiers live this year, but  they created an alternative online version of the event instead. 

Serendipity, in their tenth year have celebrated their achievements in this fantastic short video which provides a back catalogue of many performance styles and artists:

Right now Serendipity is also rolling out a series of commissions for emerging black artists. If you know someone who could be interested please forward this link to them – the deadline is 25 June – so urge them to have a look in the near future.

BHM Live is an initiative that supports emerging UK-based artists from the African and African Caribbean Diaspora.

This year, Serendipity will commission three artists to create work to feature in Legacy, a new magazine for Black History Month Leicester. The magazine will be available in print and online in October 2020.
