Having toured together since 1986 to packed concert halls, fiddler Aly Bain and accordion player Phil Cunningham have won the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards ‘Best Duo’ and received MBEs for their contributions to music. Aly is rightly regarded as Scotland’s supreme fiddler- arguably the finest of all time. As a composer and accordionist, Phil is regularly commissioned for TV and film. Together, their act is not to be missed – virtuosic musicianship with the added bonus of great humour.
